im the biggest jk hater fr but i think during season 1 is has been heavily implied that jk was developing feelings for dan. he just never had the time and capacity to process that feelings
I don't know what jinx you read but it was stated that Jaekyung started developing feelings for Dan in season 1. Like the first comment said, he didn't have time to process those feelings and now that he finally has himself to his thoughts, he’s started to react weird and he's getting confused about the sudden thoughts and images about Dan. There's no guilt tripping here.
Never got the impression he was developing feelings for Dan. For me it was purely sexual to satisfy his Jinx. He only needed Dan for that reason.

I wish authors could stop guilt tripping Seme into falling in love after few chapters. JK made it obvious he wasn’t into Kim Dan like that. Dan fell in love, big deal. JK was never in love like that for it to lead to him being severely emotional after Dan left. It was purely sexual, no love. You can disagree below.
