I kinda like it cause mother/mom is the person who has like that deep bond with their kids by nature (hyesung tried to run away from it but couldn't help it since the moment he saw byul for the first time) and it's different to the bond a dad can have. we are used to see that role on women but I don't see the problem in this kinda universe.
I really don't want to go deeper into this because maybe I'm acting too woke since this is fictional and I respect different opinion on this since its a difficult topic. It goes a lot into thinking about gender roles and binary understanding. But i wont just stay still and letting people call me homophobic or whatever. In real life two gay dads no one really calls one "mother", people who see themselves as men, cis and not, will use masculine pronouns and appellatives. Using a stereotypically feminine appellative, would that just mean that are we just falling back on binary understandings? Does carrying and giving birth necessarily makes one feminine, and therefore you should use the feminine parental appellative? Would that mean that trans men aren’t biologically men? Would it mean that “the omega male” of omegaverse is actually a "female” and not a male?
Again this is fiction and I do not have a degree in omegaverse and I apologise if I went too deep into this I know this is just yaoi
maybe in western, yes, bcs gay people around me does calling each other with feminine pronouns (and that doesnt have to do with the sex role bc top and vers do the same) and all, im gay too and those who dislike it, yeah, you can say that they're all those people who calling us with slurs bc we call eo with feminine pronouns. maybe im being too emotional too, and based on this convo i think the culture around the world are different.
I don't know you guys but it bothers me so much that they use "mother/mom" to refer to Hyesung just because he gave birth... can't they just say two dads... i know its not that deep but idk it gives me the ick i hate all omegaverse that do it
