Yeah, this is something I've been thinking too. It could be that the process came from such desperation that it could've been really painful, or otherwise too awful to be recreated now without the same level of desperation and need for revenge. It could also be that she had learned very inconventional martial atts, one that would be shunned within the family. There could also be signifigance that she only started learning in her adulthood, and in many martial arts settings, the best time to start learning is as a child.
Who knows, hopefully we'll get an explanation fairly soon.
I think she was using a sword without martial arts. In that chapter both she and the blood sect guy (I think?) commented silent like "if only she was one of her siblings" and i think she said as she was dying that they wouldn't have died to him or something (it's been a minute since I read that lol).
What I'm getting at is that she was a weak fighter, and I believe if she was using martial arts (like the qi an stuff) and not just copying the moves, that wouldn't have been so stressed.
Personally, I hope she doesn't learn martial arts because I want to see her get accepted by murim for her personal ability, not because she finally obtains what they were scorning her for now having. Encanto type shit
