Thank u so much for this comment. Personally, I dnt care who Jiwoo decides to hang his romance flag with as long as they keep show the kitty kaiden. Kartien & puppy pluton. That's the only reason I'm reading this manga honestly.
But on your comment 100% agree as someone who doesn't care. Views on manga plotline & characters are subjective issues & I find it rather dogmatic when:
1. A reader supports a ml or a fl as their personal preference & they comment. Only for other readers to troll them.
2. Some readers may dislike a certain plot or the way a character has veered off into a development they don't like. And again as they make a comment about this--some Karens will come in droves & get up and personal about your personal stance.
So I fully get your point about not starting a point. I think 98% of the commentators see any opinion contrary to theirs as a fight against their person. They lack the range as readers & also the flexibility of discernment
At the beginning, I am not too fond of the romance between jiwoo and jiyoung because of how they were portrayed at the beginning of the series.
It is because of their:
1.) Power levels. In 100 chapters, Jiyoung has greater power than Jiwoo and I thought she would best fit for kayden if she becomes a lot stronger.
- In academy arc, I even like jiwoo more with the Shield Girl because of there same power level and she is not a bad bitch compared to the other students.
2.) Relationship. Jiwoo was first introduced to jiyoung as a friend of his little brother (I know that jiwoo blushes sometimes when jiyoung is there, which hints a crush) but I thought Jiyoung doesnt reciprocate the same feeling and only see Jiwoo same to her little brother, which is being a protective older sister.
Now, I learn to accept that the romance was taking a clear track at this moment and I personally just accept their romance since I already adapted to it.
But I think we shouldn't invalidate other comments who dislike the romance because it is their personal opinion. Let them slowly absorb and accept the romance route because the series will continue in this route as long as there is no wide mass issue about the romance.
This is my opinion as a reader who personally read the story when it was still at 100 and below chapters. So I understand the feeling of disappointment when my speculation that the romance or crush plot was not too serious, but the series at the present really choose this path. Although I already accepted how it is, since Im not the author and as long as the fantasy plot is being more emphasized.
