It was the most recent chapter! There was a panel flashback where he tells his mom and dad he likes a boy and they say smth about how it would be best to not tell anyone else but that hopefully when he grows up society will have changed for the better

Maybe it's just disappointment from his part? Like he was expecting a different reaction but instead they told him that it would be better to not tell anyone, he was a kid after all at that time then he just convinced himself growing up that his parents didn't care for him lol that sounds immature of him (￣∇￣")
I don't understand the uncle dude. He said his parents didn't care about him but honestly they accepted it pretty easily? If anything they were kinda encouraging in the way they said society might change on the future where hopefully it will be more acceptable to love whoever you want...
