Right it's such a lame predictable plot line
The writer could have done something unique like making the 2nd ml win. In pretty much every yaoi it's a safe bet that the 2nd top will not even come close to getting the mc.
This ml is such garbage it would be perfect but no they just want to write generic nonsense
or at least make the 2nd ml care for him like love him BUT its clear who the author wants to be endgame
I disagree. At least we will get to see him have his own love story and happy ending with his brother. What's the point of making him stupidly one-sidedly in love with the MC and losing his potential? ML and MC are endgames, and this isn't the story you could have hoped for a win of a potential "second ML". The guy literally just appeared.

I know, and I totally understand you. The main couple is just so ugh, but I am happy that at least we are not wasting a good character to feed the ego of the MC while at the end of the day MC would never even care. I just want to watch the story of the gangster and the brother tbh...Honestly, if we want this story to be a bit disruptive let's hope MC finishes alone...but yeah surely not happening...
