I never said they can’t be annoyed by his actions. I was too. I’m just saying the bias is too crazy. People go on about their day and excuse what some characters did, annoying behaviors, but act like Hyesung committed a crime.

Everyone’s the dumb one for thinking Hyesung is a dumb ass. Almost everything Hyesung has done, I am 99% sure that almost every reader has done at least once or more in their lifetime. Hyesung knows he did wrong with some of his actions and sayings in the past. Dude literally passed the GED despite not receiving proper stable education, went through heaps of conflict (rape, anxiety/mental health issues, having to face someone that abandoned him in the past, feeling intense guilt over temporarily abandoning Byul in the past, etc) and still managed to be a friendly person who forgave or was lenient on a bunch of shits that were shits in the past.
If I remember correctly, Dojin’s best friend I believe Heeseo was the one that encouraged Hyesung to hide or run away, or both after Hyesung became severely anxious and ran away after giving birth. Instead of having a proper guidance for once in his life, he had to deal with people like that. What about Chowon? He had guys almost gang rape Hyesung. Almost everyone in his damn life didn’t give a shit, but were they forgiven and became a bit closer? Yes.
But readers can’t forgive and forget some of Hyesung’s
irrational behavior, huh?
If I was Hyesung, I would’ve jumped everyone one by one in the past timeline before I can settle down. And the grandmother would’ve been 6 feet under dirt (I’m playing) if she tried to guilt trip me.
