In our area, it's considered an auspicious event to have rain coincide with a ceremonial event (cutting ribbon, start of school, graduation, etc) because it is believed that the heavens are sending their blessings.
Ofc, if it's accompanied by strong winds, lightning and thunder and storm surges, it's the opposite and we scurry back inside. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Isn't it usually supposed to be the opposite? When it rains it's bad luck especially if you see a spirit
