The story is honestly not that great, it's pretty boring at least for me when she started to completely not even let the first villain won, like it's just straight up non stop her getting compliments and villain getting shit on so it's not that special seeing her win now, or do anything in particular, because she always wins without that much effort anyway, the only thing we are not sure of is who she'll end up with so people will naturally be more curious about that. also it's a ROMANCE shoujo just as you said, so of course if people don't get the ml they want they get frustrated. Ngl I feel so bad for Joseph, like mah boi was there for her first life and second, I swear if he doesn't get a happy ending
