i think luna is better since ㄹ can be interpreted as letter L or R. also, it suits better as they are named after heavenly bodies (byul = star while luna = moon)

L and R have the same letter in Korean. Byul means star, so they probably chose Luna to go with his name.

Runa and Luna mean the same thing I don't see why they didn't call her the actual name

I prefer Luna. It's more easily recognized as a word related to the moon.

you wouldn't see any of these characters names off the bat and understand them though, and when byul was born and they finally used the right translation they said what it meant

most people wouldn't know Byul means star, most would know luna yes because it's popular in western culture but Runa means the same exact thing as luna

Guys, it does not matter how it's used in our alphabet. It's just so we know it's related to the moon. We all know about Byul's name because it was stated in the translations.

ㄹ can be translated as either L or R. Usually, you pronounce with a R sound when ㄹ is at the start of a word, so it's most likely pronounced as Roonah, but it still is a reference to Luna. It does not matter.

(I know what Byul meant before this manhwa anyway because I'm a Mamamoo fan lmao)
