I wanna read this but I hate red flag ml. Is there a chance here? Any redemption phase?

I remember reading spoilers abt the novel way way before, and NOPE. the ml stays toxic until the end. he continues to do terrible shit to the uke and afaik the seme never had a grovelling phase.
