Ngl can someone here teach me how to search on ao3

I just click on search and then click on edit your search. There you can specify what you are looking for

If you’re looking for a ship then search “person X/person y” and if you’re looking for a tag then click “filters” and it should bring out a menu where u can search tags you want and exclude ones you don’t want. If you’re just looking for a fandom in general, search without typing anything in the search bar, click “edit your search” and you can search whatever fandom you want or what tags you want. If you want a specific fic, then put the name into the search bar and if the name is too common, Go to filters and add what fandom/ship it’s from or any other tags you remember the fic has.
To search the ships tag it’s always person X/person Y

For what fandom? And what pairing? Usually I just look up the ship tag and sort by most kudos
