Honestly I’m mainly seeing people call him that because they pity the friend that died. They believe mc is obligated to be more concerned, etc.
I was mainly referring to the brain dead comment below or a few spaces below mine..but even in that instance it’s unjustified. He didn’t like this friend. It’s sad what happened but it doesn’t make him a bad person not to mourn, people can whine abt it all they want people react differently depending on their personality and character regardless xx
Agreeeed, lol I’m one of the minority that actually enjoys the story and the character’s interesting personalities. Always hate it when readers feel like the mc has to be an angel with overflowing kindness
Yeah I see you point and I love the uke with his sleeping around behavior or not. Like you said he's single and a free of commitments person. The reaction to the friends death is the same, if I wasn't close with him and not a very sensitive person how I react in that situation obviously is not gonna be like my best friend died so I dont see the issue. I'm not gonna gloss over the fact he's sleeping with a married man and giving 0 fucks, not gonna act like that cool behavior either. Is it trashy behavior? Yes it is, its evil and trashy as the psychopath ML who drugs, rapes and commits crimes? of course the fuck NOT.
So yes people need to chill about him sleeping around because we have bigger issues but it remains a fact that actively participating in an affair reflect your morals, principles and says much about yourself, that fucking sucks and its unjustified. He's wrong about knowingly sleeping with a married person, period. And it's got nothing to do with his genre or the gender of the cheater or with his traumatic past, it's his decisions to go ahead and sleep with that one married person.
On that note I felt it unnecessary, he could literally just sleep around without the married guy random character thrown in, feels like the author dropped that shit in just to make him seem more controversial. Damn long rant sorry, just that I find your opinions very down to earth and interesting .
