Why do they always make these kinda stories into porn? Is sufferance and hardship a turn on? Sighhh there are ways to write rape scenes that don’t clearly show that the author is thinking “ooh yum rape :P” and sometimes authors write such such realistic sad stories like this only to spoil us by so clearly making it fap material. And sure as an audience member you may not take away that it’s porn but it is. It is intentional. I hate it.

It just makes me think like:…does drawing lolicon material where the pedo is tortured and killed or arrested at the end make you any less of a fucking weirdo? No. You decided to draw loli porn anyway. Like….to me the author I don’t think even cares. He just wants to write sad story about sad woman being an abused and being sad. Ugh. UGHHHHHHHHBHH

OMG I cannot agree more. The author is super questionable with its harsh yet realistic setting, but with its overly sexualized scenes(and art style) kind of romanticing r@pe in a way. It's definitely the way the author draws it and portrays it.

It was actually still quite disturbing despite the "oversexualized" scenes--probably because of the horrifying atmosphere that the story sets itself in, its often moody and dark. It seriously does not feel like porn to me--its drawn in a deliberately gross way and it kind of feels like a mockery of most hentais out there that DO romanticize sexual assault. Though, I can't really guarantee that that is what the author wants to portray. Just my perspective tho!

Nah it’s porn. It’s about artistic intention more than interpretation. And you’re not considering that the ugly bastard and humiliation thing is its own (very popular) fetish. It reminds me of people who claim Metamorphosis is actually some deep sad story and not just porn made to capitalise off of rape, sexual assault, drug addiction and forced prostitution. Having a woman fall into disarray and traumatised and become a mess, a mess reliant on the men around her, having her sole male protector be betrayed or being forced to betray him are alllll fetishes popular in hentai. People are just gross.

Like as in im sure 90% of readers found this disturbing and it’s because of YOUR morals. It’s against your morals to find this sexually appealing. Back to my lolicon analogy, there’s some REALLY horrifying stuff out there where the perp is tortured or is arrested at the end but it doesn’t stop the story from being loli porn. And I find it very disturbing to read sure but the author definitely made it using only one hand. You get what I mean?

i agree with you but it could also be a posibility that it could just be his art style cause looking at the suthors other work area its pornwha so this being psychological and realistic manwha hits harder

I supposed so! After actually giving it more thought, I just discontinued reading this. Its just hard to see how the story--taking a theme about violence against women--was told in the perspective of a male character and I highly doubt the author is a woman. I do wish artists who had the talent to create gruesome atmospheres portrayed sexual assault as what it is; horrifying and dehumanizing without the unnecessary porny shit that sells well to a bunch of sickos. Thanks for the comment!
