No, it's illegal to film someone without their consent, but filming in a public place is generally allowed. A home is not a public place, which makes it illegal
? Filming in their own house is legal though, it's not a public space but it's his own property space. And cctv is quite common.
It's still illegal to use in-home cctv footage to prove any crime unless the person consented to the recording. And if the person engages in sex inside your home (with or without you) and you do not inform them of the recording, it is considered a sexual offense crime in many places.
Basically, he can watch the video live, but keeping the recording is illegal, and in some places even filming in the first place without consent is illegal.
