NOOOO PLEASEEE I just didn’t want to say 30 or 40 cause reading that far is a real commitment, reading to ~20-25 chapters gives the vibes. Also tbc I LOVEEE hyesung he’s my spirit animal and he did have to go through a lot of horrible stuff, but that doesn’t make him good. I think it’s important to acknowledge he is like kind of a bad person; he does not give a SHIT about anyone else… and I love him for that.
It's an ok story. There are better out there. Baby Byul was the best part for me. Super happy he's got his own story now.

Well if u read a little further in the thread buddy you’d know that I have already responded to this criticism, yes Hyesung goes thru horrible things BUT he’s still bratty and manipulative and cares mostly about only himself. I’d be hard pressed calling him a good person (at least here). I will admit I was being hyperbolic and silly when I said he’s “the worst person alive,” but it’s because I love him
you say he’s selfish but he had to spend his whole life looking out for himself ever since his mother left.. he still refuses to see her because that’s what’s best for HIM he’s not obligated to go see her, even after his first kid is in high school by now
I don’t think he needed to see his mom and tbh I glad he stayed true on that, I don’t think that was selfish of him. But he is selfish in other ways; he stays in the relationship for his own ultimate gain. He uses the baby as a bargaining chip because he knows he can get money from it. Obviously he *is* manipulated into staying but at the same time he ultimately chooses to stay because he’s materialistic. He is selfish, and that doesn’t make him a villain. It makes him nuanced. And again, I love him for it.
