A few came to my mind but none of them has all three plot elements you said, but it's wort a shot! For BDSM with a slight hint to a love triangle there a few short stories on "momentum" (it's a serie of short stories and I think starting from the third/fourth one they all belong to the same universe and there's BDSM, I loved that one), love triangle might be "from the points of three" but I don't think is the one you are looking for, then there's "lover boy", one of them is a painter and there's a love triangle but I don't remember any BDSM. Last there's "love or hate", I remembers there's a love triangle and some slight BDSM, but I'm not sure about if there's a painter or such....anyway, lover boy and momentum are great, so if you can't find the one you are looking for I would recommend those!
