I don't understand uke's anger because his family has obviously been trash to him and don't deserve to be called family but I guess I just can't assume the perspective of an abused child. As someone who grew up in a healthy loving household, I always thought that if my parents were the opposite, I would leave as soon as I can stand on my own two feet and never look back. But maybe it's more complicated than that and a person like the uke in this story would rather cling to an abusive family than have no family at all....I don't understand it but maybe it's not something for me to understand
