Ok I'm dropping, wish there were more stories like the broken ring but with no smut and a lot of disturbing content. I like how real the story is but it's too much with the uncensored scenes. This one just doesn't sit right together

1.idk about the duke he seems to be the ml but I don't really like him, killing her 19 times and blaming her unfairly and traumatizing her and suddenly she became everything to him that's not my cup of tea. I'd rather have a revenge story. Fl deserved better than this trash I know he can be passionate but he can also wrong people for his beloved and it makes him a massiv pass. Looks aren't everything too.
2. I hate how the childhood friend appeared just now to spice the drama and make us feel bad, Idc abt it though. But what makes me angry is that the fl gave it up even finding reasons why they weren't there for her. Like her brother who has a high status and this friend who never appeared until now to help her.
I hope no more mls appears it'd be really frustrating
