Did she sell out their landlord because she thought our military man was a cheating husband with a kid? Coz thats the one thing that sort of connects her reasons and actions, now that i think of it more. Is she worried about the baby? So she'd rather their landlord marry a woman and keep away from a family man who might be ruining a baby's life?? Is she projecting herself on the baby who she thinks would be like her, kicked out to some relative and being a caretaker? Like im pretty sure it's mostly the caretaker depression going on which i wished was a lil more highlighted, coz it was so subtle at first... This is like LAYERS to her heart bro, it's when u absolutely make no sense to what your doing coz there was an actually deeper reason...and yeah, it's her forgetting that she is no longer neglected as she has her granny, it's just that her granny's dementia is hitting her more and making her lonely and then pinning it to her parents' neglect coz yknow, she doesn't blame her grandma...she just forgot that despite being forgetful, her granny remembers her dearly.
Yoooo, this author just ignites a lot of mental and emotional olympics — the very thing i love about reading... Coz some things arent so obvious (i mean, duh, but i get spoonfed a lot and my reading brain is rusty now — so it makes me happier when im just provoked to keep thinking abt it regardless if i held embarassingly shallow first impressions HAHAHA)
