Yes, they are being sued because the author of Pian Pian has initiated legal action against Jujucat. Jujucat was planning to post the new manga from the author of pian pian made recently, but since the author of Pian Pian is strongly against illegal uploads and foreign readers accessing her work, she found out and decided to sue. This has caused issues with other websites as well. She does take piracy very seriously. Even though she’s not that well-known and nobody like her cough. Jujucat has been on a bounty list (a list of people who re-upload copyrighted works) for years, initiated by the author of Blind Play during the "YD Drama."
I feel bad for Jujucat, but at the end of the day, it’s the law, and I’m sure Jujucat was aware of the risks. I’ll admit I’ve spent years reading manhwa illegally, though I keep it to myself. That said, let’s not forget that this is an illegal site. Whether a manhwa is good or bad, piracy is still illegal and harms the careers of creators who have every right to sue. Hopefully, things turn out okay for Jujucat because they really fought the law for us and beat there illness for us
