ehhh, I kinda understand where the best friend is coming from asking the Mc to find out info about Lee Hyun.
When the Mc realizes his feelings, I hope that IF the best friend gets mad, then hopefully he's not mad because Mc likes Lee Hyun- he's mad because Mc didn't tell him about his feelings earlier or something like that. *stupid reason but it's a comic about highschoolers so I expect nothing less* or he becomes distant because he himself realizes that he's in love with the best friend. Of... a secret third thing that I'm not thinking about.

Also this may be a stretch but I wonder if the best friend is the one putting the love letters in Mc's shoebox. Not because he likes him, but maybe he's trying to see how Ms will react or if can get Mc to open up more and look forward to romance instead of video games or something... idk.
I have a suspicion that the best friend is leaving him the notes tho. If not him, then maybe the best friends ex???
