I thought the "devouring the cake" was the same one I've read before, it was cannibalism yet they taste like sweets (forgot its title)
Little description of the certain story: There was an kingdom where the food was the people itself like they some kind of sweets with distinct flavors and the story focuses between the kingdom's Queen and her servant who willingly ends up being eaten little by little by the queen herself
It was a bittersweet story
