They met up with a new group, the ones who sent them to the kitchens and kicked out Youngwon (crazy guy). The girls remained on the group’s side, so they ended up dying with them when the kitchen exploded, caught on fire, and released the zombies at them (since they had chained up the door to keep the boys from coming back in).
No that was the group in the dorm and happened before they met the two girls at the library. Yhe two girls went off somewhere else towards another building after they stole the supplies from the library. I don't remember which building though, but maybe they were joining another group too, but we haven't mer that group yet.
Looked back and found the chapter, they öast said they were heading towards the student union building. No other group mentioned.

I agree I do have hopes that they're smart and surviving girls and maybe they'll show up again somewhere somehow, they were too interesting to just be one-off characters
