The villainess Lavienne and our FL Esther are actually biological siblings. Grand Duke Tersia's wife has a twin sister, and that twin got a child with Duke Braon. Esther is that child, so the prophecy that the goddess promised is actually meant for the 1st daughter from House Braon. But the Duke doesn't knew it and believe that Lavienne is her first daughter.
It's quite frustrating but instead of bio dad, Grand Duke Tersia is just her uncle and the twin brothers as her cousin.
