Exactly this dude repenting for the wrong reason
What I understand so far:
That was how he felt in the beginning of their marriage but as he got to know more about her and spent some time he started liking her more and then she became his weakness. The hunter association started using him for selfish reason and threatened him that they'll do something to her if he didn't obey. He thought if he maintained some distance the association would leave her alone but he didn't want to be so cold to her and then she died trying to save him. He regrets his actions and wished he treated her better.. so here in this world where he has more power he's trying to win her back. In south Korea he was powerless against that fake saint and the association.

but that just makes me mad at him for a different reason like if you have power now and your only threat (the fake saintess) is powerless against you, then talk to irene??? tell her your reasons and if she still gets mad at you accept it???

didn't ciel say in a past chapter that he actually despised seohyeon before getting to know her because he thought of her as a way the saintess used to tie him to korea??? I thought that was the reason he was a dick to her??? What the fuck do you mean it was never your intention to hurt her??? I'm so confused.
