His certificate is fake?? Damn I thought it was the other scenario since ML gave two. It was either the cert's forged or someone is preventing other people to know about MC being a great alchemist. I thought it was the latter, since they also said the certificate is real. The head in that establishment even knew of MC, I forgot what that was. But yeah.
Oh I'm not 100% sure but my logic went that way. Only that representative at that alchemy branch was aware and the royals since they keep milking the guy for ideas like the love partner think from the beginning
I believe his ID is real but they recorded him as a lower level alchemist on paper so no one knew who he was so the bast*** can seclude and trap him. He was known as a genius in school so it makes sense it's real. Tho it being fake is another possibility which would be bs lol
It is technically fake according to ML later. If I remember it correctly, they made it in a way that looks like something mass-produced, which is why almost every ppl MC met did not believe him. On top of that, every invention MC made always list so many names so he became only 1 among many Alchemists who made it.
Oh you're talking about that Purifying water where I a lot of alchemist were recorded to be the developer and he was listed among those, not as the main but as one of the developers of that product. I geniunely believe the ID's real. Just that he was not introduced or someone's (most certainly that asshole of a prince) giving a gag order so that the masses won't know of him, took credit of what he created, and someone wants to monopolize him and his talents (again, that prince & the King too since he's one of the people who will gain a lot because of MC's products). MC's situation is really sad, given that he is practically forced in isolation, living alone, and to top it off the product he thought is not selling is actually raking millions of money while he's living there broke. Just glad the ML is taking action to take back his rights.
It really hurts me how Ennid's "only" pride is fake. it is something that makes you feel like there's no ground under you
Imagine, he knows his invention doesn't carry his name but he was happy that at least he was a graduated alchemist the youngest and a commoner to top it all
But it was a lie his certificate and ID where forged and the person who made his student years hell took all the credit on the genius work he created while he was living in poverty and debt
