feeling bad for him is fine, I feel bad for him too, but I’m referring to ppl who just blindly erase all the insane shit he did & act mad/surprised when ppl he victimized are upset with him
We all do but people act like because of his traumatic past that everything he does now is ok and everyone needs to be super considerate and forgive him immediately no matter what. Thats not that works. Theres something called accountability.
Of course someone with unresolved trauma could struggle to make rational decisions when under stress like cirrus, but that doesnt mean everyone has to let it slide when he does bad shit. Trauma isn't a get-out-of-jail free card. Even his friends and boyfriend arent obligated , understanding him . That's not how that works.
Rin and Skylar still understand him enough to forgive him. This is the best cirrus could ask for tbh. He did horrible shit, people reacted and they spent time to think about it and forgave him. People are acting like because they both got over it and want to reconnect with him that it means cirrus did nothing wrong in the first place.. that's crazy
no one’s asking u to just forgive him but maybe try to understand him and sympathize with him like everyone’s doing now. after chan il found out cirrus’s past, he started understanding everything that’s happened.hes not a bad person, he’s broken

That's exactly what im asking people to do... but ppl keep thinking sympathizing = excusing all bad behavior. I love cirrus and his suffering is tragic but doesn't mean I want every character to baby him when he does wrong, like most of the comment do

But lemme say it one more time, you can have compassion / understanding for someone AND criticize them when they do something wrong. I think that's a hard concept for u to grasp though

No one in this comments section wants character growth for cirrus, they want to coddle him and for him to have no repercussions for his actions ever and for everyone to be nice to him no matter what he does.
I love how rin is being understanding and Skylar looked back realised cirrus DID actually care for him. But their initial reactions were valid. Rins BEST FRIEND made her look like a cheater on purpose and Skylar found out the beginning of his relationship was a lie. But they both are giving cirrus the benefit of the doubt because rin understands him and Skylar knows he grew a little since then.
It's CIRRUS that should apologise but because of his traumas he withdrew from everyone thinking they abandoned him. Skylar and rin need to keep reaching out so he knows they care but cirrus also shuts out anyone in the blink of an eye. He punched skylar after they broke up, and people acted like it was skylars fault. If they reconnect, they're gonna have to meet halfway.
All these commenters remind me of when I get mad at my brother, and he gets mad at me for being mad at him. It makes no sense and is so unreasonable
