devastating :(

the poor kid was bullied and tortured, and couldn’t even cry for help. i like that mc was deceived and is starting to regain his empathy because even though his life wasn’t easy either- it doesn’t mean other peoples pain aren’t valid

considering the severity of the student’s situation too, i think having someone truly understand being in his shoes while having to gain the sensitivity for his circumstances was such a good choice
