Confused???

From my understanding, after the MC death the ML spent years raising his children until they eventually find out who their real father is and they got mad at him, in a fit of rage cause of those feelings coming back he accidentally kills his son, after that the ML wakes up back to the day where he meets the MC, which is where we are now. Both characters have faint memories and feelings of their pervious life and thats all we know so far

Well to be more precise it's clearer in the novel.
There are 3 timelines :

1 -> season 1 og timeline with all the beating, Aelock death, Klopp becoming mad, etc...

2 -> Season 2 (right now). In this season Aelock got all his memories from the past but we follow Klopp's pov and not Aelock's so it's not always noticeable. In this timeline apart from these dreams Klopp has no memories from the past, but Aelock remembers everything

3 -> Probably next season, this time it will be the Klopp of the first timeline who died at an old age and then goes back into the past meets Aelock again. We follow the point of view of Aelock this time in this timeline, who has no memories of the past

So basically the story is divided on 3 parts :
Og Timeline (S1) = Klopp A / Aelock A
Timeline 2 = Klopp B POV / Aelock A
Timeline 3 = Klopp A / Aelock B's Pov

The og Klopp and Aelock don't meet again but both meet a version of the other in the past who has no memories from what happened in S1

In the timeline 3 is Klopp still semi abusive or did he learn from his mistakes

Hmm if you're okay with spoilers I can tell you a few things, but I haven't read the 3rd timeline in a long time, because it's really not my favorite part of the novel



I consider the 2nd timeline to be the most healthy relationship between them, then the 3rd then the 1st (for obvious reasons)

The 3 tl is quite angsty. This time Aerock and Klopp first meeting goes completly differently. Basically during a party, Klopp jumps on Aerock and starts cursing at poor Aerock who doesn't understand what's happening at all. This Klopp believes he is in hell and is completly mad. So our Aerock (who has no memories from the past) doesn't fall in love at all with Klopp after being nearly strangled during their first meetings, he is scared of him and calls him a mad man.
Klopp ends up realising that he is not in hell and then tries to get Aerock to love him this time. It made me roll my eyes because it really makes you realize how Klopp never loved Rapiel, if he did he would use this new life to be with him but instead he pursues Aelock his "nemesis". Aerock has financial issues as in every life and has to go see Klopp even though he HATES the idea. Anyway I'm not adding too much info here because I don't really remember but Aerock's strong initial dislike and fear of Klopp slowly cools down as they spend time together but it doesn't mean everything goes smoothly. Klopp has hallucinations, and is still under the effects of going crazy after losing his pair, the Aerock of the first timeline.

We follow Aerock's Pov so some of Klopp's little remarks and actions don't really make sense for him but it makes sense for the reader who knows what Klopp past life was. Eventually they are almost together, Klopp has been quite ok, but Klopp has another hallucination of Rapiel (his son, not his ex) and Aerock hears him calling him in his room so he thinks he is cheating on him with Rapiel. Aerock is mad and goes see Rapiel's lover (not Klopp in this timeline) to tell him that Klopp and Rapiel are cheating on them. But then he sees the guy with Rapiel, and so he wonders then with whom does Klopp speak with right now. He goes back to Klopp's house and discovers him alone hallucinating. Klopp attacks Aerock in a moment of madness. At this point Aerock is scared of him again even though he likes him. But then they discover that Klopp has lost his memories. It's actually Klopp who pretended to lose his memories but Aerock doesn't know. They still end up together but this really is a bittersweet ending. I loved that Klopp pursued Aerock and that in this life Aerock stayed the proud alpha that he was and never was r*ped or anything like that. You may say it's too much of an happy ending for Klopp, but not this much. They do end up together but only because Klopp lied and pretended to have an amnesia + Klopp isn't 100% happy because yes he is with Aerock but he will never meet the Aerock from the first timeline again. He has to live knowing that he can't undo what he did and can't talk to first Aerock ever again. He cherishes Aerock but he has to bear the burden of his past life alone for the rest of his life.

In my opinion 2nd TL is the best for Aerock, and the sweetest, he moves on eventually, has children with the man he loves even though there is still a lot of traumas.
While Klopp never totally moves on in the 3rd timeline and it's more angsty, Klopp learns from his mistakes I suppose, he tries to court Aerock and doesn't voluntarily abuse him after their first meeting but until the end he has some psychotic breaks and can be scary. The pseudo-amnesia is what brings them back together (I don't really remember the end though so I may miss important details)

This is exactly I was thinking because Klopp from the 1st timeline was always abusive and etc. and I knew in my heart that even if he had a second chance, he would somehow waste it which he didn't really do, I guess. Now that I know this I'm probably not going to read season 3 if it ever comes out, I'll glance at it from time to time but season 2 will be my final one because I prefer a happy ending in where Aerock and Klopp get together peacefully and are able to live happily without any trauma but as for Klopp's ending it sounds like he will always be haunted, and to be fair having to go through the lies, mental abuse, breakdowns, and etc. It's tiring and I'm not putting myself through that again just for an angsty ending that I'm probably not going to like. Although he probably changes for the better, I know that season 3 will somehow feel like re-reading season 1 but with less r@pe and more, but hey at least he got his semi happy ending! Just can't wait till Aerock and Klopp from timeline 2 actually do end up together. (≧∀≦)

I'm at a point in which I almost don't want the third TL to ever happen. I just want them to be happy.

Aerok actually remembers every second from his past life and it will affect his current relationship with Kloph, Kloph Will have to deal with his trauma without knowing the source of it, this timeline is supposed to be Aerok's second chance to do things right, [spoilers ahead ... ]

In the novel there is also a third timeline where it is supposed to be Kloph's second chance let's say, to work things differently, this time he will be the one who keeps his memories from his first life where he abused Aerok to death and we will see things from his perspective and how he regrets dealing with his problems the way he did in his first life.

It was obvious from the first season that klopp didn't love Raphael and the second season came to emphasize this fact. Klopp was homophonic and once he realized he was lusting over an Alpha like him (ie. Aerock) he got mad at himself started to deny his feelings and forced himself to marry Raphael, he knew from the beginning that Aerock has some kind of romantic feelings for him so he also was using Raphael to tease him and get him jealous. Even after discovering that Aerock was the reason of Raphael's death he didn't beat him constantly because he was taking revenge but because of his guilt of dragging Raphael to this and his awareness of his feelings towards Aerock and his refusal to accept them.

Aeroc kinds of relive his time but remembers the past and ensuring he don't make same mistake avoiding the couple but Kloff has no memory of that time and just wants Aeroc to be his. Hence the confusion of alpha and omega scent coming from aeroc. I hope I tried with my little explanation.
