Do you remember the hair colors? Or if its a japanese/chinese/korean manga? It's quite a generic plot if that was all that happened ahaha it immediately makes me think of Bad kid Good partner but I don't think there was any blackmail involved, they both agreed because it was beneficial but I think the rest is the exact same... Kill the lights also has a similar plot if I remember correctly haha
I read this story so many years ago and I am gaslighting myself into thinking it doesn't excist. I don't remember if it was japanese or korean. I know it was not chinese. I believe it was black and white maybe? ╥﹏╥
I have been looking for this story for a long time. It looks like I forgot to add it to my read list or my collection of stories that I read. This is my last chance to find it.
I don't think I remember the entire plot but I remember quite a bit from it. The main character gets blackmailed by the other male lead who I think was a celebrity. The MC had to now hang out and fake date (or real date) the celebrity.
Much later, The celebrity's manager ordered the two to "brake up" because either they where worried about rumers that could hurt the celebrity's popularity or there were already rumers going around that was hurting his popularity. The celebrity said no (because he already caught feelings and doesn't want to brake up) but the main character said "sure we will brake up, not like we where actualy going out" or something like that. The celebrity was heart broken and the manager felt bad when she/he realized that her client had real feeling from the MC. While they are apart and broken up the MC realizes that he misses an had feeling for the celebrity and regrets the brake up. In the end they make up and get back together. I think the MC finds the celebrity and runs to him in a hug and apologieses to him?
