Don’t get me wrong, but this is how life works. People change. Especially in more than 10 years of relationship. Also they lost a child and didn’t have stable life so he started thinking that he’s wasting his life with her. It’s a common thing that boys and men make mistakes and when they lose sth then they regret it. One or two scenes showing his nice side don’t show his thoughts. Young people are kind and naive. He got Bitter due to unhappy life. So you shoudnt be mad at the author.
I agree, but I think the user is just pissed about the fact mincheol changed for someone who did everything for her and the author ruined the character's good characteristic for the plot for the story

no but...that's literally the plot? the plot is that mincheol changed, even though he used to be good back then. u can't say the author changed his character to fit her plot bcs that is literally the premise of the story. his character deterioration is one of the plot lines
That’s understandable too. If the artist was seeking a more realistic approach to convey her story. One of my concerns is why she chose a younger ML and not a mature ML who’s similar in age and maturity. Wouldn’t he just end up like Mincheol, once he’s older and wiser??

hahah i think u answered ur own question. maybe that's what the author is trying to show, that taeha, who himself has had a very troubled upbringing, will not turn out like mincheol. he'll choose to be different. also i feel like im just here to defend the author lmao that's not it this is just what i think the author wanted to convey.
I think that younger ml is rarely seen in manhwas. So it’s kinda uniqe plot. Still remember that we don’t know taeha’s intentions. Also it’s realistic that mincheol was once kind and in love with her. He just got bored of her as people often get. Also i think that he is rude and unfair to her because he’s so dissapointed of his life that he want to throw all his negative emotions on her even if it’s not her fault. Just to feel better about himself
A realistic approach could also include Taeha maturing and becoming like Mincheol more in the cheating aspect. Don’t forget, both main characters have a ten years age difference. Older mature women wants to settle and have children, younger men not so much. We can surmise based on today’s society involving relationships between older women and younger men. But we see how it turns out as the story progresses. I still blame the author for wasting Mincheol’s character and the ML should have definitely been and older and wiser man. Taeha’s brain hasn’t fully developed
I can’t accept the outcome of the Kang Mincheol. The author needs to revise his story. This character was just too good to be wasted by self conceit. I still believe the author sabotaged a great character to usher in a younger ML for the female lead. I’m not mad at Mincheol, I’m mad at the author.
