I don't know if we are reading the same thing because the line "he also didn't put any effort into chasing MC romantically" doesn't sit well with me. Eunsung taking it slow was honestly because HE KNEW, mc would act like this. He also didn't want to trigger MC's trauma that's why he is being patient despite wanting to know MC's history with that black hair dude. Taegun will definitely start to avoid Eunsung in the next chapters and this is what Eunsung don't want to happen.
I understand MC's reasoning, ML needs to prove that he won’t treat him like trash and I think we'll be good. So far ML didn’t do anything wrong but he also didn’t put any effort into chasing MC romantically. As a matter of fact MC is more romantic and he isn’t even chasing him.
