I agree, this manga is adapted from a play, its kinda normal for a play script to go so fast with simple cause and effect due to limited time and they need to keep it interesting the whole play. It looks like they go with the original and didnt bother to write a slower pace story more suitable for a manga, the art and character design is so pretty I want to see more. Ul is so pretty I wish the extra is actually a short story, I want to see them both more.
I've always says that I much prefer unhappy endings (despising stories that ends where everyone is happy/the ending is good) but for the first time, I am not fond of this one. The author looks like they tried to squeeze the backstory, the thing that's happening into >10 chapters and that's rather overwhelming.
Just by one event, that was caused by Angelico's personal beef with Raphael could turn the whole clan into a whole massacre resulted by Krauss' initiative. It's probably because the author needs to have it done by a few volume. It started off well, a kid who is a minorities met a 'friend' on a new place. As the story continues, unexpected plot twist after plot twist kept on appearing. This is a rather tough read, in my personal opinion. (I don't want the kids to miserable)
Unimportant:
[For the translator] Thank you for the translator who translated this manga, from start to end. As a fellow translator, I enjoyed it a lot, from word phrasing to the saying placement, it's all very nice to read. Me and the other who enjoyed this manga would most likely appreciate your work.
