Kept reading till now while hoping her biological family would finally realize they’re putting way too much pressure on our MC who is just a little kid and still trying to recover from all the trauma she’s been through. I was honestly waiting for them to have that moment of realization where they regret pushing her and see that they’re making her feel unsafe by insisting she come back while that awful queen is still in the Palace. But nope, all the new chapters are just them forcing her while she’s too scared to say no as she tried to protect her precious Duke family. Are they really that clueless, or are they just pretending not to notice how uncomfortable she is?
