we have russian werewolves in Wolf in the House (it's a fun BL, i laughed and giggled) it starts in Japan, one of the werewolves is from Siberia, and in the side story they go to Siberia in the hope they can find traces of his familly :-) !

What's the story about?
In BL as far as i know,
we have two russian rapists as ML in ''Codename Anastasia'' and ''Roses and Champagne''. (It's a shame the author didn't mind the ML raping the MC at some point. Couldn't they just stop pushing rape culture in BL ? So disappointing.)The story is good fun until it goes down. _ the first 25-40 chapters are good.
(I prefer Codename Anastasia as i really like spy stories.)

It's about a fun mixed (interracial) couple : a human meets a shapeshifter in his dog shape and it's quite comedic. (The guy is a dog during the day and shift to his human body at night.) _ At some point the couple realize they are followed by another shapeshifter (.... Not spoiling the rest....)_ I really enjoyed the sense of humour of the author, the main story is a feel good story, the delivery is awesome. ( It's about ... Love and self acceptance i guess ?) The side story is a whole different mood , with mystery and action. The main story is a feel good story with funny situations. The side story is a mood in itself, it develops into an action thriller with darker tones. I don't know if it's '' russian '' in term of atmosphere and urban landscapes coz in Siberia we don't really get to see a lot of the city life they live in a remote place. (Not spoiling) _ it's a fun read. Not necessarily what you are looking for but it's nice !! _
