The recent chapters about dementia really hit home. When my grandma was dying and in the hospital, every strength she had left went to calling on her husband, my grandfather. He died 2 years before her, but during her last days, she would stand up and look at the window and scream my grandpa's name over and over again, saying that she was ready to leave the hospital and return home with him. I miss them both dearly.
