That's the first one that came to my mind but it's not that like I remember the scene it was like a public execution and she was in a castle wall while he just came back from war and he tried running to her but it was too late

It's isekai josei I think and it starts with the male lead coming back from war and he sees his childhood friend being executed and he tries to save her but it gets too late
The she goes back in time and she is like I'll have to do all of that again since yk need to go by the original plot but this time the dude also have his memory and he changes
