I see a lot of comments saying it’s confusing, but it’s not. The only thing it really is, is a mid story. It’s not the best and not the worst. Some parts are interesting but then other parts fall flat. For the most part you can see where the author was trying to write a cohesive story, and it does round out if you can read between the edges but it unarguably doesn’t fully pan out the way as a reader you’d want it to. The FL felt weak, at times her character was flat, there was no drive to her and even when there was it felt like she did it for the sake of just doing it. She had no actual personality aside from “I’m the protagonist so I have to move as such.” The ML felt like a damsel in distress without having a hero becuz I assure you the FL, despite being a hero, fucking sucked at being a “hero.”
