I don't think he knows yet, like his instincts know, and the subtle hints are definitely throwing the warning flags. Knowing about the item he was given before Able died then was a secret he told no one, so that was a flag that he didn't quite put to thought yet. I mean, he did test him by telling him to go into the trap to see if he'd show his true colors, only to be baffled.
So I'm sure it's his instincts running the show as he slowly comes to realize things piece by piece. That's just my thoughts on it so far xD
Really! I thought he finally came to realise .....it really is abel like his thoughts and actions scream it's abel...but I can understand that he has been through a lot to actually see it because of all the fakes...but it still hurts...
