nahh this on isn’t guideverse i’m pretty sure they’re just hunters. guideverse is basically where an esper is a power user but they hit a wall or a limit, and if they pass it then it starts turning into a “they’re a danger to themselves & others” kinda thing. they need a guide to keep them from going beserk, and guides r ppl that calm them down & “guide” them through physical touch. usually that ends up being overtly sexual tho, so it’s usually a smut thing, but it rly is as simple as handholding sometimes
