Oo I've never seen any Korean comics with a trans mc before.
I do know a webtoon that is really fluffy and sweet doe, "daybreak" the mc is an enby and the ml is trans masc. Alot of representation all around and is genuinely the sweetest comic to read.
Same probably due to the fact that Korea is a very transphobic and homophobic country. I feel like in a lot of Korean bls they are very heteronormative and if there was ever a trans character in manhwa It would probably be stereotyped and probably be rape in there since for some reason, Korean comics, especially bl have a huge problem with rape.
Yes exactly. I think korean authors/artists only do bl or yaoi bcuz its a popular genre.
They only view it as a cash grab so they dont put the time or effort into research or being mindful so it ends up being a borderline homophobic mess.

Mc is born female but raised and living as a male for political reasons. The gender identity is addressed quite well. Wouldn't wanna spoil and say more. It's really really good, i definitely recommend it

Japanese manga don’t tend to have that big of an issue with rape well from my experience, I don’t really drop bl mangas for rape or how heteronormative is compared to manhwas. I also have read quite a lot of mangas with trans mc. I can’t say the same with manhwas
