I think the coro's brother is doing something to the mc, because ever since they've entered coro's realm the mc's overwhelmed by the spiritual energy(and I think he agreed to the wedding for his child sake)
and he noticed it, he even tried to visit coro but an elderly stopped him because it's dangerous
well remember that the brother is brainwashing him/hypnotizing him and making him forget things so he's not the most mentally aware right now
