maybe the flashback connects because hangyul saw ml with other and his past crush likes his brother than him. yknow like past and present his love doesn't love him back kind of flashback?

The second flashback is Hangyul remembering how the tattoo guy beat those guys up for him, it may be trying to show him seeing him in a new light? I think that's what he was thinking about while sitting in the rain.
What the hell was this order sequence? We had a flashback of his brother and the debt collector, then it cuts to the current day MC and ML (which had nothing to do with the flashbacks), then back to the flashback again. I'm so confused.
