Please read the genre tags. This clearly states it's a shounen-ai. Which means it's a love story between two males, but not the explicit kind like yaoi.

If the author mentions it's inbetween romance and just portraying queer content, it's still included in the shounen-ai corner I'm sure, even if there is no romance between them.
Likely because manga itself lacks a genre tag for portrayal of things. Since that's not really a thing in asian countries.
If shounen-ai is simply in the tags to mark it as queer including content but no romance, I do think we should just scratch the tag tho.
