She ran away because she thought he's gay and she was just a figure duchess, basically she thought he wouldn't even try to have a real relationship. Tbh she is young and no should butt in a relationship between the 2 so the brother telling him not to stop her was abit problematic and kinda dumb that he didn't stop her from leaving but it's not unreasonable development or plot. Bruh, Istg I get it, see it, and I understand that being neglected and bullied for 4 months is shit. At the same time, he is TRAUMATIZED, and while he is struggling with his own shit, he really wants to be in a healthy and meaningful relationship. Unfortunately, therapy doesn't exist so we get this fucking shit where lmao, he had a panic attack and instead of someone being like he girly, his dad was on some fuck shit and people died because of it. Or hey girly he cares about you he just is dealing with a lot of emotional baggage he doesn't want to just drop on you, she fucking runs away instead of STEPPING UP to the title she married into and demand-
Ya know the fuck what? How the hell are you letting fucking servants dictate what you can and can't fucking do. I had to re-read and this girl despite living in the country wanted for nothing. Had a support system that she could rely on for advice and yet, instead of taking in any sort of critical thinking to assess the situation or her relationship she jumped the gun and ran.
I know it's for plot, and might even be realistic for some people, but like how the fuck are you going to say you want your husband to love you when you don't love him either?
