Alpha males but not beta males. It isn't outright said, but Ichirou was a recessive omega. Either due to genetics or his horrible childhood his omega traits never fully developed. Like the doc said, pregnancy would be "difficult".
I like the idea that even beta and alpha males can get pregnant and beta and omega girls can get you pregnant(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
