I just checked Baka-Updates Manga and they say that the second season is on hiatus, maybe this can cheer you up a bit. Still I'd like to find actual interviews or such where the creators tell us what's really going on with this series. :/

For those of you who wanted to know where the updates are, here is your answer. I started reading since it was by the same creators as the amazing series The Breaker. At the number of chapters I believed, maybe, that the scanlators had dropped their project. But, I soon was met with the fact that Chapter 25 was the end of season 1. I went on a search for season 2 and the answer that was awarded to me by many people was quite devastating; Apparently the series was cancelled.
It does not really surprise me, since it is filled with a large amount of plot holes that should have been filled already. It's hard to continue a wobbly story. An author always fears giving a story a rushed ending, so leaving it unfinished is the best thing to do. So, please do not be mad at the creators, and enjoy this story regardless.
