Tbh sometimes the harassment that comes with BL adaptations is not worth the popularity. I'm pretty sure crunchyroll still has its comment sections removed because of some losers review bombing a BL manga adaptation for being BL.

i definitely get what you guys are saying but like even if it wasn’t the summer hikaru died and something non lgbtq it’s just the response in general for anime adaptions ykwim?
but aside from that I hope netflix doesn’t censor stuff, i heard it used to be tagged as “bl” and got removed and striked up a conversation on censorship w the author
i agree entirely but this wasn’t directed at it being a bl, it was more of the average response for any “underground” thing gettting bigger.
whats w people and superiority over knowing something before it got big? summer hikaru died just got a trailer for an anime and ppl are being weird and saying “wish it would stay small” or “ppl are gonna misunderstood their relationship,” OR WHATEVER IT IS THEY HATE ON. I get sometimes things get catergorized but most of the comments just act like they’re better and understand the manga more than anyone else. It’s so weird.
I WISH IT WOULD GET BIG? sure it’s a little whatever if someone misunderstand it but at the end of the day I don’t really care about what others think to both me like that when it’s interpretation and stuff
