An incredibly beautiful story ruined in the third act by some fuckass yakuza characters. We really didn’t need some cliche “greater evil” as a threat in this. That’s the beauty of psychological stories, the evil the MC is facing in his own head is enough. The Choi guy was ripped write out of some Saturday morning shounen anime, complete with evil monologue, lackeys that fit every cliche henchman role, and a mysterious illness or some sh*t that gives him plot armor and leaves him unkillable by any of the other characters. Quite disappointing. Wish the author could have found a better way to conclude this.
